Sustainable Sparrow To The Rescue

Looks like my 2019 blog posts are filled with sustainability, and I’m definitely not complaining.

Since school I’ve been fascinated with the idea of styling one piece of clothing in tons of different ways, instead of buying new clothes. Though I wasn’t aware about the right term of this process back then, I’ve now realised that it was a part of a sustainable lifestyle. So since I still enjoy styling one piece of clothing in multiple ways I thought why not do a post with a mix of sustainability and smart styling.

For some reason anything with buttons is fascinating to me, just like the skirt in this post. The skirt is from a sustainable brand called Sparrow. Sparrow? You already know how happy that word makes me, because sparrow is my favorite bird! So when I knew I was going to collaborate with a sustainable brand I was already happy but then I realised the name of the brand is Sparrow and that took my excitement to another level! Along with being a sustainable brand and having such a cool name, the fabrics of their clothing pieces are just amazing. I’m not an expert at telling you about the material in detail but from how much I know the material of this skirt was amazing. Comfort is the second great thing about this skirt because it’s a skirt from the outside but a pant from inside. The idea of wearing another layer below your skirt like a shorts or tights as you may call it just for the comfort or to save yourself from the embarrassment of your skirt flying off. It’s definitely not fascinating to layer something under my skirt, so this saves you from the fear of embarrassment as well as the effort of wearing something under your skirt.

Diving right into both the looks now, before I start blabbering more about how much I love this skirt.

Look 1

You always have a favorite! This quote is so true or maybe I just made the quote up but it’s definitely true just like how much I love look 1 more than the second one. The obvious reason for that is because this look is effortlessly sassy though I have only paired a crop top, added socks (obviously) and a pair of stilettos.

The delightful part about this outfit is how the skirt does all the work of making the outfit look so chic even after pairing it with everything nude, it’s the perfect “chill” day look for all seasons. You can switch the stilettos with something more comfortable and you’re all set for the right day.

Look 2

Before I could tell you about this look I want you to know that just because you have a favorite doesn’t mean you hate the other one (making myself feel better of the guilt for choosing a favorite one, like as if I hurt the look 2 feelings)

This one’s for all the winter lovers, specially if you love wearing cozy clothes. Because of the various color options on this skirt . Since this skirts has different colored stripes on it you can play around with one of the colors. I choose to stick to blue because I wanted to pair this really cute and furry blue top which is just perfect for the winters. To jazz the look a bit I styled a Barret and blue socks with white high tops or heels.
