Hi guys!!! how’s monsoon treating you all? I’m sure its much better than the summer heat.
Today’s look is just something i wanted to experiment & have fun with. I shot this in December, so as it was winter i wanted to try something with knee high socks. Knee-high socks are a great way to keep your legs warm, there are definitely many other ways to wear them but I chose the typical school girl look with my fit and flare dress and two high braid pony tails.
I absolutely love the detailed work on this dress, it’s delightfully sweet and fascinating and also gives a fun and colourful look. I personally love layering, so in this look I’ve layered my red and white knee-high socks just to add additional texture, color, and warmth. And paired them with one of my favourite ripped denim classic slip on shoes.
On the other side to complement my look I’ve styled my friend Lendl with a white formal shirt, navy blue chinos, white Nike shoes and a bow tie. I wanted to be all colour coordinated, as you can notice in the pictures below especially with the bow tie and knee-high socks. Love the pop of colour of red & white in the look. Also Chinos are so in trend right now, its slim fit, has flat front options and variety of colors and prints.
When it comes to bow ties, they are fantastic by themselves but they become something else when styled the right way. I think bow ties are an essential part of your wardrobe and every guy should own one. It can transform your outfit from something simple to quirky and confident, so go grab a bow tie now!
(And this bow was actually a part of my dress but I carefully took it off and made a bow tie out of it)
